Fava Bean Pasta

 

I could sing the praises of Fava Bean Pasta. We can't wait for Fava's to come into season in the Spring. They are kind of fun to sit there and shell bean from the pod, then immerse them in boiling water and shell the actual beans a second time it is worth it to us. We shell by heart fingers flying as we discuss the upcoming treat. I can't count how many times we have made this pasta. The answer is many! Obviously we love it!
