Sweet and Salty Grilled Pork with Citrus and Herbs is essentially a Vietnamese dish, and we really enjoyed it. We don’t often make Vietnamese food at home, but we will definitely make this one again.
The dish reminded us of our trip to Vietnam. Vietnamese cuisine tends to be more subtle than Thai cuisine, and I particularly enjoy its delicacy. It is fascinating how different the regional cuisines of Asia can be. Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, and Cambodian cooking each have distinctive flavors and ingredients.
Interestingly, one of our favorite lobster dishes is a fusion of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Cambodian cooking. Ah, Henry’s Cuisine!
