Walnuts!

Our neighbor bought a 50 pound bag of fresh Walnuts! He came over and gave us a generous portion. I think they had been roasted I need to ask him. I also need to find out if Walnuts are seasonal. At any rate the Shells cracked very easy and we used them instead of Almonds in Persimmon Salads. The Walnuts tasted great! We dressed the salad with Balsamic Vinegar, Olive Oil, Salt and Pepper.
