What can be better than steaming hot Onion Soup on a cold rainy day? This is Julia Child's recipe, we love it with lots of cheese. I tried something different this time that we will do in the future. Rather than grating the cheese I sliced it and placed the slices on the soup before putting it in the oven. I think this is a far better way.
